Job Description

This is an internship role for a Community Intern within Her Campus Media.

Core Responsibilities:
• Recruitment: Actively recruit community members within Her Campus, Spoon University, Campus Trendsetters, InfluenceHer Collective, and College Fashionista to facilitate community growth.
• Research & Strategy: Research influencer and college campus trends, and brainstorm new recruitment strategies.
• Content Creation: Craft copy for newsletters and create recruitment social media content.
• Event Support: Provide support for events and experiential projects, which includes sourcing talent leads, collaborating on main stage programming, and enhancing user experience.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this internship, candidates should meet the following criteria:
• Must be a current college undergraduate.
• Possess strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office platforms.
• Demonstrate a hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
• Be passionate about Her Campus Media’s mission.
• Show a clear interest in community growth, social media content creation, marketing, and project management.
• Being a Her Campus Community Member is preferred.

Requirements For Application:
Applicants must submit the following as part of their application:
• A writing sample that showcases personality and engages with pop culture or a current trend (e.g., a blog post or an article from a school assignment).
• Two social posts that demonstrate the ability to edit videos and create engaging and trendy content.

• The internship is remote.
• It is available to current college students located in the United States.
• Internships are offered year-round on a full-time or part-time basis.
• The position is unpaid but is offered for school credit.
• Hours are flexible.
• Her Campus Media does not offer visa sponsorship for this position; applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
