Job Description (Tax Winter Intern):
• Job Title: Tax Winter Intern
• Location: Boca Raton, Florida office.
• Duration: January to April 2026 (Winter Intern period).
• Job Type: Hybrid. Team members are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week, with the exact cadence determined at the team level, allowing for flexibility based on tasks and collaboration needs.

• Industries Served: The firm serves a diverse range of clients across industries such as Consumer & Industrial, Financial Sponsors & Financial Services, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Public Sector, Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Technology & Media, and Private Client Services (industry focus may vary by office).

Your Role (Responsibilities):
As a Tax Winter Intern, the primary responsibility is to become familiar with accounting and auditing procedures and perform them accurately, thoroughly, and timely, in accordance with firm standards. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working on all aspects of an audit engagement, including cash, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, maintaining confirmation logs, and preparing audit work papers.
• Assisting with audits, reviews, compilations, and accounting services.
• Participating in resolving audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients, while supporting the team with daily client workflow.
Your Experience (Required Qualifications):

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA Track: Plan to complete 150 credit hours between December 2026 and September 2027 to be eligible for CPA licensure.
• GPA: A minimum 3.0 GPA in both your major and overall studies.
• Coursework: Successful completion of two accounting courses prior to the start of the internship.
• Leadership: Held leadership positions in student organizations, extracurricular activities, and/or on team projects.
• Experience: Prior work or internship experience is a plus.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Work Authorization: Must be able to provide proof of work authorization such as U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency status to apply for an internship or entry-level role.
