About the Job

This role is for a Marketing Intern located in Norcross. While specific working hours are not detailed, the position is integral to the marketing department.

Position Summary:
The Marketing Intern will serve as a key liaison within the marketing team, interacting closely with the Marketing Director, Marketing Project Manager, Chief Sales Officer, DEUTZ Power Center personnel, and other internal departments. A significant aspect of this role involves assisting with the organization of trade shows and other major events. The ideal candidate is expected to possess an enthusiastic, results-driven attitude, coupled with strong graphic design capabilities, exceptional decision-making abilities, and effective communication skills. The ability to follow through on assigned projects and efficiently multitask under pressure is crucial.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Assist in developing assets for social media posts, both the DEUTZ Corporation and DPC websites, and promotional point-of-sale materials (e.g., signage, product brochures).
Social Media Strategy: Play a significant role in defining DEUTZ Corporation’s social media strategy, including creating a social media calendar with daily recommendations and suggested posting frequencies.
Social Media Metrics: Provide monthly reports on metrics and trends for all social media platforms DEUTZ Corporation utilizes.
Brand Guideline Support: Aid in ensuring DEUTZ Power Center branding consistency, specifically by assisting with service truck graphic approvals and other point-of-sale materials.
Lead Management: Offer daily support by forwarding sales leads to the appropriate sales channels and personnel.
Event Logistics: Assist with managing logistics for DEUTZ products and personnel related to trade shows, including booth space selection and establishing branding and layout.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position holds no supervisory responsibilities.

Travel Requirements:
Anticipated domestic and international travel is estimated to be 0-10%, depending on business needs.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Requirements:
Education: Currently enrolled in college (with some college credits required) or a graduate with a degree in graphic design or marketing.
Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of marketing best practices.
Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across the organization.
Work Ethic: Strong customer-focused work ethic.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign software.
