Job Description

This intern position supports the Corporate Development and Strategy team at InterDigital. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment on diverse projects, assisting with day-to-day activities such as company and market research, financial modeling and analysis, and transactional support. Projects may also include proactive efforts involving research and analysis of corporate, financial, patent, and legal information. The ideal candidate will work independently, define project requirements based on stated goals, and develop creative solutions using available technology and tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Corporate Development and Strategy team on projects related to Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Strategic Intelligence, and Corporate Strategy.
• Conduct partnership and new product research.
• Source and prepare presentations of potential M&A opportunities.
• Perform customer and market analysis.
• Prepare quarterly board update materials.
• Participate in strategy and analytics projects with other InterDigital departments as needed.
• Opportunity to take ownership of specific aspects of high-impact projects involving a wide range of stakeholders, including business unit leads and executive management.
• Potential to present portions of work to senior leaders and executive management.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for creative problem-solving and process improvement.
• Currently enrolled in your Junior or Senior year of a Bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
