Job Title: Intern – College Partnerships Team

Location: This is a part-time remote position based in Texas. Preference is given to candidates living in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or those willing to relocate.

Job Type: This is an internship position, explicitly stating it is part-time.

Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $11/hour.
Work Hours: Up to 32 hours/week.

Essential Duties – What You’ll Do (Accountabilities):
Lead efforts to update directory and campus visit information for 72 college partners and provide this data to college counselors and alumni managers.
Collaborate with the director of college partnerships on analyzing data trends related to college partner applications, acceptances, and commitments.
Maintain accurate FERPA waivers by auditing 24,000+ documentation for 4,000 seniors from the class of 2026, working with college counselors and alumni managers to correct form errors.
Responsible for updating the FERPA waiver campaign tracker & OneDrive folders towards 100% document completion and submission.
Ensure waivers are prepared for 210 alumni data requests throughout the year.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities:
Support the College Team in logistical planning for both in-person and virtual college partner visits.
Identify resources for alumni at college partners and cascade information to appropriate stakeholders.
Maintain professional flexibility by responding to a high volume of campus inquiries to provide support and guidance on issues or concerns impacting students’ progress toward matriculation.
Update & create various college partner resources to share with appropriate stakeholders such as counselors, alumni managers, and/or students & parents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education And Experience:
Education: Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university; IDEA alumnus preferred.
Certifications: None required.
Experience: Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, with a preference for advanced Excel proficiency.

Preferred Education And Experience:
Education: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a college or university with at least 60 hours completed.
Certifications: None required.
Experience: Strong technological competence.

Physical Requirements Of The Job:
• Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged amounts of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
• Ability to complete periodic travel required for meetings, observations, trainings, and conferences.
