Job Summary:
Brightstar is seeking a motivated AI Research Intern to join their dynamic team. This role is specifically designed for individuals passionate about artificial intelligence and eager to explore cutting-edge technologies. The intern will play a key role in conducting research on upcoming AI features, Microsoft Azure technologies, MS Copilot, and MS Power BI. A foundational understanding of Python programming and prior exposure to large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT or Gemini is highly desirable for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on emerging AI features and technologies.
• Explore and analyze Microsoft Azure technologies, including MS Copilot, MS Power BI, and the RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architecture.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to develop actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings.
• Assist in the thorough documentation and professional presentation of research outcomes.
• Engage in continuous learning to actively enhance technical skills and knowledge relevant to AI.
• Provide support to the team in various tasks related to broader AI initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Possesses a basic understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, MS Copilot, and MS Power BI.
• Experience with Python programming is considered a significant plus.
• Exposure to ChatGPT, Gemini, or equivalent LLM products is advantageous.
• Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibits excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated starting compensation range for this internship is $23/hr – $26/hr. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower depending on factors such as background, skills, experience, and work location, and will comply with local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements where applicable. Base pay is part of a comprehensive Total Rewards program. While sales roles may be eligible for commission, other roles, including this one, are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
