Job Description
The job is for an Intern within Rystad Energy’s global consulting team in New York, which is currently expanding. The company is specifically hiring students graduating in December 2026 or May 2027.
Key Responsibilities for interns include:
• Working as an integral member of project teams and/or on special projects.
• Undertaking challenging assignments that demand rigorous analysis to generate insights and conclusions.
• Engaging closely with clients.
• Rapidly learning and deploying new knowledge.
• Working across a diverse range of energy sectors based on project needs, encompassing traditional oil and gas, midstream infrastructure, and energy transition sectors such as renewables, hydrogen, and carbon capture and storage.
• The primary work location will be the Rystad Energy office in New York, with potential travel to client sites as required.
Desired Qualifications for candidates include:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• A strong academic track record in a relevant field, such as engineering, finance, economics, etc.
• Demonstrated analytical, quantitative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A keen interest in learning about the energy industry and the energy transition.
