About This Role (Analytics & Data Internship Program at Wells Fargo)

Wells Fargo is seeking talent to join its Analytics & Data Internship Program, offering roles within various business lines and staff functions. This is a ten-week professional development program designed to provide undergraduate candidates with a comprehensive overview of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and organizational culture. The program aims to offer a blend of business and professional developmental training opportunities that incorporate real-world experiences, preparing participants for a potential career at Wells Fargo.

Program Overview & Experience:

Interns will be placed on one of Wells Fargo’s analytics or data management teams, with consideration given to their location, degree, and expressed areas of interest. The internship experience is structured to include:

Relationship Building: Opportunities to connect with colleagues and leaders.
Relevant Work Assignments: Engaging in practical tasks that contribute to the team’s objectives.
Coaching & Feedback Sessions: Receiving guidance and constructive feedback from experienced professionals.
Group Projects: Collaborating with peers on specific initiatives.
Informative Learning Sessions: Attending sessions with key leaders in the analytics ecosystem to gain insights.

In This Role You Will:

Gain On-the-Job Experience: Begin developing analytical and interpersonal communication skills by analyzing and translating data into usable concepts for effective data-driven business decision-making, and actively participate in your team’s day-to-day activities.
Receive Professional Support: Be matched with a colleague who will provide answers, support through challenges, and feedback throughout the summer. Additionally, a program manager and functional cohort will offer further support.
Benefit from a Virtual Speaker Series: Access insights from Wells Fargo’s top leaders who will share advice on making the most of the summer experience, discuss their career paths, and highlight trends in their respective financial and functional areas.
Take Part in Organization Networking Activities: Engage in community involvement and networking opportunities with other summer interns and full-time analysts across various programs, fostering lasting professional relationships and building a diverse network.

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in fields such as: Analytics, Applied Math, Computer Sciences, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Physics, Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis or related fields.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement.
• Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change-driven atmosphere.
• An energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or familiarity with: Data visualization tools (such as Tableau and PowerBI), programming languages (such as SQL, Python, SAS), analytics, research, statistics, data modeling, and/or data management.

Program Details:

Duration: 10 weeks, during Summer 2026.
Primary Location: Charlotte, NC.
Limited Opportunities: Available based on business need in Minneapolis, MN, Dallas, TX, and Des Moines, IA.
Pay Range: The specific pay for this internship role is $40.87 per hour across all listed locations (Charlotte, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Dallas, TX; Des Moines, IA). While a broader pay range of $18.00 – $65.00 is mentioned as a general disclaimer for Wells Fargo positions, the fixed rate of $40.87 applies to this particular internship.
